Nancy Wake

THE TRUE STORY OF NANCY WAKE
Based on “Nancy Wake” the original biography by Russell Braddon

(Feature Film - Early Development)

SYNOPSIS
The extraordinary true story of Australia’s greatest woman warrior, the intrepid and tenacious WWII Allied operative, Nancy Wake.

Trained by English Intelligence and leading 7000 French Resistance fighters in battle against the Germans in the European theater, Nancy topped the Gestapo’s most-wanted list and earned the nickname ‘The White Mouse’ for repeatedly and adeptly avoiding capture.

Nancy’s story is full of adventure, romance and action - Wonder Woman in real life - made real by an ultimately tragic personal loss. It is also an homage to the heroism of the French Resistance and a celebration of women and their ability to change the world.

Producers: Allanah Zitserman / Sue Milliken
